This is so we can:

  • Diagnose diseases earlier or more accurately
  • Prevent people from developing conditions
  • Improve health and care for generations to come
  • Ensure everyone has a better quality of life

Overall, the aim is to find out whether what is being tested is better than what is currently available. This can include therapies, medicines and services.

Although health professionals already know a great deal, there are still so many questions that need answers.

The UK-wide STARFISH Trial is looking at the best treatment for sudden hearing loss and you may be able to join.

Eating Disorders

This study is looking to recruit anyone suffering with the symptoms of Binge Eating Disorder and/or Bulimia Nervosa and is above the age of 16. The study aims to explore how binge eating disorder and bulimia nervosa are identified and managed in primary care in the UK and propose recommendations on how to improve it.
