Minor Illness Hub

The Hertford and Rurals PCN now runs a Minor illness hub to improve access and capacity for problems such as coughs, sore throats, urine infections – see below for a more detailed list.

We encourage you to access this service by sending an eConsult to your own practice. If you are unable to do this contact your own Practice for assistance.

The hub will provide advice and telephone consultations to manage the minor illnesses leaving your practice to help with long term conditions and more complex health needs.

The hub also offers some face to face appointments when needed. These will be delivered from Castlegate Surgery in Hertford (SG14 1HH) during the afternoon or early evening. There is no parking during the day but it can be reached on foot from all of the town car parks. After 6.30pm parking is permissible on the single yellow lines of castle street or in the small car park in front of the surgery.
