The patient led Herts and West Essex Diabetes Support Group has organised an outstanding free Diabetes webinar on Wednesday 17 April from 7 – 8 pm. it is being given by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and will cover current and future medication for both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes

A free webinar, hosted by the Herts & West Essex Diabetes Support Group is taking place on Wednesday 22nd May between 6 and 7 pm, which could help people sport the signs of developing Type 2 diabetes and how best to reduce their risk.
Patients can sign up for the online session called Are You At Risk Of Diabetes?
Speakers will include the chair of the diabetes support group Alan Bellinger and Luke Frampton.
Luke will talk about the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) on behalf of Lining Well Taking Control, the provider of the NDPP within Herts and West Essex. He will explain the programme content, the structure of the sessions and how they can be referred to the service. The NDPP aims to help the thousands of people across Hertfordshire and West Essex who are at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes and how best to avoid it through a non-medical, lifestyle based, behaviour change programme.
