From Monday 17th May 2021, any GP patient requiring a blood test at Hertford County, Lister or New QEII Hospital, will need to book their own phlebotomy appointment online with the new bookable service with appointments available from Monday 24th May 2021.
Blood test appointments
Blood test appointments, requested by GPs, should now be booked online for the following hospitals:
- Hertford County Hospital
- Lister Hospital
- New QEII Hospital
This is to help maximise the number of appointments they can offer to patients, minimise queues and continue to maintain social distancing in waiting areas.

Please call the phlebotomy team on 01438 284044. This number will be available Monday-Friday between 8am-9am and 1pm-2pm.
